   Cons: This takes about 1 day to install in a truck. We had to purchase an extension cord. It drains the vehicle battery even when wired into the circuit board, requiring a trickle charger or jump-start. Hardware is tiny and easy to drop/loose while installing. If you don’t keep it plugged into a permanent power source, it will not catch anything on camera when vehicle is off.

   Pros: for the price you do get front and rear camera coverage and it’s all in one tiny screen.
   It records all incidents to SD card and you can check footage from the app that it says to install. It’s adequate for a teen new driver to CYA when you have liability only ins. coverage. It only gets front and rear but a wide range.

   I’m continuing to look into better ways of making this work with less on going battery issues.

   The goal was protection for my teen driver and have an accurate record of any mishaps. Goal met so far but the battery thing is the biggest problem.

   I have had this camera for a few months in my vehicle and still have not been able to get it to record a video. I have gone through the set up a number of times and each month when I check it there are no videos. And many times I look at it and it says to format the disk again. It is cheap in cost but if it won’t save the videos then it is worthless. I have other dash cams for my other 4 vehicles that work fine. of course they aren’t available any longer.

   Looks like great daytime footage. Night is worse with some light glaring, especially in the rear camera. Might have some issue reading plates at night if the other vehicle is unknown, but video and audio is clear. For the price, this is a great buy. Customer service helped trouble shoot an issue. Power plug wouldn’t run it correctly, but direct USB connection worked fine. Seeing if they will replace plug as a backup, but otherwise, easy install and everything needed is included including a few adhesive clips for when the wire can’t be run behind trim.

   I purchased this setup to replace my existing system in my truck. The mounting system for this unit doesn’t use suction cups that pop off the windshield in high heat. This thing mounts rock solid. Setup was a breeze and all of the wiring is very simple. Images are crisp and clean with no issues with out-of-focus images due to movement. I did have a problem getting the correct in-car camera for use with this but support was EXCELLENT and quickly provided me with the proper part. The support team has been EXCEPTIONALLY responsive which makes me feel much better about buying a product from a brand I wasn’t familiar with.

   I had bought this a couple days ago and just installed it.

   1st I needed to format the SD card as requested, so I purchased a whole separate SD port to plug into my computer just for the 64G provided SD card in the package.

   2nd I went ahead and reinserted the SD card into the dash cam and recorded ONE full days worth (May 4). At the end of the day I took out the SD card, plugged it into my laptop just to see how the clips are recording and all that but to my surprise it’s a whole bunch of 3min clips for just one day. Not going to lie that is pretty frustrating. For future reference, god forbid I witness an accident or get into one. I don’t want to be scrolling through a load of 3min clips. I’m not sure if i’m able to adjust this but if I find a way I will come back and update on here.

   3rd the download app is worthless to me. it doesn’t let me pick up clips from the app. I may be having trouble, not sure. I’m going to look into it more and see what I can fix. If not, I will be returning.

   1st purchasing the SD port was a hassle at first since I was having issues with my mobile app BUT I will say I am glad I now have my SD port for future reference in case anything gets lost or my app is not working right.

   2nd Azdome page responded to me on a complete different social source as I reached out to them with questions. I was having issues with 3min recording increments but this is adjustable in the menu of the azdome device. Also, In the azdome app, all clips are separated by each day so it’s not just a hot mess.

   3rd My issue with the app was that I was not able to see any clips or just in general connecting the device. By turning on the wifi on the azdome app->connecting to phone->then going back on the app, it will work just fine!!!

   I wanted to review this after two points of buying and using this product.

   First, I wanted to use it for at least a good few months. It works really well. I have NOT had any issues with car battery usage, the product overheating, or the sd card having problems needing to be formatted or whatever.

   I had ordered the 2-channel model, BUT it could have a 3rd inside cabin cam added to it. Now I had one issue where the port on the inside cam was micro HDMI, but as soon as I contacted the service, they were straight to the point and very professional in getting me the right port connection that was needed.

   Was fast and in great condition. 5 out of 5.

   Video quality is very good in various lighting conditions. Screen aspect ratio is unusual but I rarely use the screen for playback. Status of settings is displayed on the screen and that is helpful. Parking mode works with optional wire harness. Nice having rear camera recording. Included rear camera cable was long enough for medium sized SUV. Windshield mounting is secure. Runs hot (as described in the manual). Two menu buttons stopped working after 7 months use and vendor replaced the unit quickly at no charge as warranty is for 12 months. Satisfied with this purchased
