This is an interesting dashcam that uses AI to provide warnings for things like forward collision and lane departures. Unfortunately, I discovered that the event recording has a serious defect. When an event is detected, the camera records the next few minutes and saves it to a special folder. Unfortunately, the recording does not go back in time from the event, so you cannot see the CAUSE of the event. You can stop and pull the history leading up to the event, but you need to purposefully yank that history or risk having it overwritten by the unit. I think this is disqualifying for a dash cam.

Hi, I just bought and received Type S T400 dash cam but the power cable CLA does not fit into my car’s cigarette socket. It is too big to fix into the socket. I managed to get an installer to provide a socket adapter.
