Liked front camera image, looks sharp like 4k, but rear camera isn’t sharp and looks like 1080p with low fps… Bought mostly to use as digital rearview mirror. But sadly, using it as regular dashcam with low quality rear view mirror option…

Wanted to replace the rearview mirror on my “new” car and also needed a new dash cam. This dash cam had everything rolled into one. The picture looks great. You can set a “time-out” to turn off the camera view and use the mirror. The rear camera is a helpful bonus. The camera also works with an app when connected to wifi.
My only cons: I would rather have the mirror attached to a bracket than banded to the existing mirror (I did order an aftermarket bracket, but the screw holes are slightly off and the screws are not long enough to grab the mirror). And once the app is connected to the mirror, settings can only be changed thru the app not on the mirror. However, these are just preferences and not anything wrong with the product.

This is an excellent camera but it wouldn’t work for my vehicle. There is a rather large black plastic housing behind my rear view mirror, concealing navigation electronics, which obstructed the front camera’s field of view to the right front of the vehicle. However, the quality of the 4K video and the touchscreen capability are excellent.
