So the radio is pretty awesome, but the radio reception is not that great. Also, only one subwoofer output, and who knows what the crossover frequency is. My phone connects with no problem, and the calls I answered, they had no problem hearing me. The touchscreen is responsive in the center but does not always see touches on the edges of the screen. Steering wheel controls are programmable but see the same input for different buttons, so cannot get all the controls set to do different things. Has a front-view camera, but it would be nice to be able to record with it. The camera it came with has a really great picture, just wish it was round and had better mounting options, so I decided to used a different camera.
With that said, I have had this in my truck for over a month now and I really love it. No issues with calls and the voice control is smooth as glass. I use the Dashcamera.us.com music app most often and I just tell Siri who I want to hear and even the song if I want. Never have an issue. I am surprised how much I like this radio,but glad I took the chance.

First, I want to clarify easy installation. The installation requires getting the proper wiring harness for your vehicle and following clearly the instructions in connecting the appropriate wires. In my case not all wires were needed. I liked that this double din was a 98 percent fit in the location of my existing radio. I got it to replace a CarPlay device and Bluetooth device that I had and enjoyed using. But this had it all including radio, and with the direct wiring it turns off and on with the car’s ignition. It was a DIY install for me, so the backup camera was not installed and therefore it is omitted from this review. The touchscreen is very responsive. The screens are easy to navigate and getting your preferences setup. The one downside I have is the buttons to control volume are small and doesn’t feel as durable. I realize that a knob or integrated touch controls would feel better for volume control.

No head unit for a car stereo is truly easy to install, but this one was relatively so. Everything seems to work, and so far I have no major complaints. The sound quality of calls is pretty decent, and nobody has complained they couldn’t hear me. I dropped this into my old beat up pickup truck. A 2003 Chevy Silverado. Used it to replace the long dead unit that was in it currently.
Love the fact I can use maps in the truck now.

You’ve probably looked at many stereos before landing here. There are many choices available, all with 7 inch touch screens and many with wireless Android Auto and Carplay. Some, much less expensive. So, what makes this different and more importantly worth the extra that it costs.
Well, let me tell you and to preface I have been working with car audio since the early 90s and understand them well. This particular stereo has a number of things going for it. Firstly is the quality. This stereo is simply a higher quality unit and uses a superior operating system and components. This translates into responsive menus and reliable performance. You also get superior sound quality and excellent connectivity. You can expect that it will connect quickly when you enter the car and provide an enjoyable listening experience each and every time. It also has physical buttons for primary functions and five channel line level outputs for adding external amplifiers. Lastly, the manufacturer ATOTO actually has a web presence and customer service that are responsive and helpful. That is simply something you will not find with the lessor stereos.
