The install was easy. It is a plug and play. You can’t even tell that you have one installed in your truck.

Picture quality is acceptable to most.
Cons- while there are several good YouTube install videos they did not do the best job of explaining the need to 1. Select the right WiFi in your phone & 2) clarifying why the cellular setting must be turned off.
Don’t get me wrong. I applaud these guys that do these videos but most are a lot more tech savey than many of the rest of us. In fact there may be a video out there that explains it better but I didn’t see it.
Just know u will not be able to play pandora music and run your camera at same time.
All this said I still like and recommend this camera.

This camera is great. Just what I wanted; a simple way to record the crazy drivers on the road with me :). I watched some install videos, and that made the install really easy (15min) in my 2023 Tacoma. Camera picture is crystal clear. I really like that there are no cables and it blends in with the original truck.
Two items to be aware of, and it would not stop me from buying this.
1) If you use a Mac, you will need to download a third party tool to watch the videos. There are many, but I used Elmedia.
2) As mentioned in other reviews, it’s annoying to have to disable cellular data each time you want to connect to the camera.
Again, neither of these are “game stoppers” but something to be aware of. Overall, I love this thing. I had other cameras with cables running all over the vehicle and this is SO MUCH better.
BTW, I did not buy the rear camera, only the front.

I have Fitcamx cameras in both my 2019 Tacoma and my 2022 Lexus ES350. While both are obviously different, the both were easy to install, they look like they were installed from the factory and work great.

Installed the front-only set, now wishing I had bought the front & rear model. Install took about 6 minutes, including watching a quick video. Just pop off the plastic cover behind the rear view for the radar system and pop this baby in. No wires showing, no pain in the rear wire routing. I’ve only used the app once to make sure it would work; that worked fine at the time. Nice knowing that i’m covered for any encounters with idjits on the road (at least the ones in the front)

Easy and simple to install. Really is plug and play. App is also easy to use and navigate. Video is clear and night recordings are pretty good too.
Tip: if you are upgrading the memory card, do the setup with the included card to avoid any hiccups and then replace card after.
Wishes: wider angle camera. Ability to add a rear camera later. The power and camera/photo buttons are right next to each other and hard to remember which is which. Would love an audible shutter noise when a camera button is pressed as well.
