Doesn’t work well with the jeep premium sound system. You can’t control the fade or balance. It just overall doesn’t sound that good and the stereo interface has a lot of lag in it.

Extremely disappointing. The manual is virtually useless and any online documentation doesn’t match this specific unit. There appears to be no way to adjust the main clock or turn off the back up camera screen if the camera is not installed. Even if there was a desire to use the camera, the manual is extremely unclear and appears to show using an external monitor. The menu system is not intuitive and the sound is sub-standard at best. Basically, this is a horrible head unit. Stay away!

I just installed this in my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which had the UConnect and SiriusXM touch screen radio. It does not come with an aux microphone so that had to be ordered separately. The stock EQ profile is trash but they have a few other presets and it’s fully customizable. Easy install, took only an hour or two. Recommend the 2GB RAM version as opposed to the 1GB. Touch screen is responsive, steering wheel controls work, wireless CarPlay works, hard to beat at $170 compared to other options on the market.

There’s only right and left channel outputs on the rca harness, no rear channels. The sub rca channel starts clipping at 2/3 volume. Carplay is fairly laggy over bluetooth and usb.
