We installed on our 2023 Ioniq6 and this dash cam fits absolutely perfect. The dash cam wires directly to the auto dimming mirror and installation took less than 5 mins. The video quality is pretty clear as well. I would buy again.

The instructions are mostly online-only but the installation is relatively easy and doesn’t need more than the plastic tool included in the box. It seems to have good quality and a decent app.

NOTE: There’s a plastic attached to an electronic module under the oem trim. Do Not pull that down. You will want to pull on the trim just on top of that (Not closest to the windshield.)
Also, remember to remove the lens cover. I recommend testing once the plugs are in and before you snap the plastic in place. Don’t want to risk needing to remove the plastic again.
Review: After breaking a couple clips off the OEM trim piece, installing the FitCam trim piece is easy. Luckily this camera replaced that whole plastic piece (watch their install video). Simple use to connect to the video using the app (requires wi-fi connection). I think it keeps recording even if you’re phone isn’t connected to the camera’s wi-fi. You can just connect only when you need to check the video or change settings. I have a wireless Android Auto/Carplay dongle that needs my wifi as well so I give that priority.
The camera only turns on when the car is fully on (ready to drive). Quality looks good so far. I like the stealth/low profile look of it (main reason why i bought it).
My video is more of a cautionary tale. Not really a review. Just be careful when removing the oem plastic. They make it seem easy in the video, but I’m sad I broke stuff (though I probably won’t need them again). Hopefully, it turns out better for you! Good Luck!

Looks great. Takes excellent video. Can’t see it from the driver’s seat (LHD). The passenger can see it but it looks like it belongs there. NOTE: There were two options to purchase from. I switched to buy from seller so they could include an adapter since I did not have an auto dimming rear view mirror. The adapter plugs into the OEM 12 pin lane centering camera plug on my 2025 Ioniq 6 SE.

Saw this was available for the Ioniq 6 and purchased one, as I did not want my vision impacted by a dash cam. Took me 5 minutes to install and works perfectly. I would suggest a larger memory card so you can record more loops. Very pleased with it and also installed one in another vehicle.

I installed the camera and the app last week and like it, but I’m experiencing several issues. First, you can only log in to the app while in the car, and the car must be turned on. Second, my 2025 Ioniq has only 720 miles on it. I’ve charged it twice, and it used to charge over 310 miles at 80%. However, after installing the camera, it won’t charge beyond 240 miles at 80%. I will remove it, put back the original cover, charge the car when needed, and repost.
