Very good camera, easy to install, it took me only 20 minutes to install hide the cable with the supplied tool and connect it to the obd2. The camera turns on and off with the ignition in the on or off position. The download off the video with the app is very confusing and frustrating.

I installed mine in 20 minutes, it has been working great. As we all know, the Maverick came with a small inexpensive battery, I drive mine everyday and have had no issues. But when I upgrade my battery, I will be going with the biggest and best quality that will fit. I have to many accessories.

Installed this dashcam in my 2024 Ford Maverick fairly easily. Followed the provided video instructions and was able to hide the wire nicely behind the plastic panels and weathering strips. Plugs directly into the OBD port under steering wheel for power connection. Video quality on playback videos is nice. The only small con is having to connect to the camera’s wifi to download the recorded dashcam videos, but this is such a minor thing and easily overlooked. Comes with a large storage card and overwrites old videos not needed with lots of settings to choose from. The wire hiding tool is a nice addition and the dashcam looks very sleek and OEM under the rear view mirror.

I hooked everything up and installation was easy. Big problem… it is dead and won’t power on. I contacted the company and they sent me a new OBD2 connector. I now have power. However, I can’t get the WiFi to work. Very frustrating.
I read in the directions that you can’t use Apple Car play with the camera. I just bought a new 2025 Ford Maverick and I won’t give up my wireless Apple Car play. I may need to send it back… I really want it to work. I hope customer support can get it working. 🫰
