   Good quality sound, loud enough through FM Transmitter. Wish had more audio types to handle but if you use fire stick go to settings and change the sound to PCM from digital. That way the Pyle can play the sound. I don’t regret buying this. Simple but powerful entertainment for the road. For star goes for messy manual, not correct cable markings on the RCA. This unit does not have output cable even though the cable is made for it and the manual says it has it. It does not. Newer version of Pyle does not even have the output cable present anymore even though they did not change the manual.

   The picture is just ok the built in speakers produce a sound at such a low volume I dont think a dog could barely here it and when linked through the A M radio there is so much interference that you cant even hear the movie audio almost at all, and it cuts I. And out yet my xm radio gets zero interference through the A M link…I would expect way more from Pyle u.s a, shame shame!

   The ease of installation was awesome , has a pigtail to allow you to plug into your factory wiring for the dome light that you will most likely remove to install this , the av and power cables are nice and long , (unlike other TVs I’ve purchased that the cables dont even make it out of the ceiling) so hooking up wires was a breeze. Unsure of the factory speaker as I used this as a screen run off my after market dvd sound system.

   The screen is big so I don’t get complaints from my kids that it is too small. It has about 4 ways to connect thins, 1 HDMI port, 1 USB prt, 1 Micro memory card port, and 2 VGA port. Those are a great number of options that could be taken full advantage of. I currently have a coverter box, a micro memory card, and a HDMI cable to my phone to give my kids opons to watch tv the go. The coverter box isn’t the best since sicgnal isn’t that great when driving but if your parked and waiting for a bit then having a tv is great option to have. The picture of the diplay is good fo what it is althuogh I wish it was better.

   updating Review to 5 stars 10/5 We drove around for about 1.5 hours over the weekend and no issues with the monitor or Firestick. Happy with this and so are my kids! I bought PVC board which I had never thought about using until I read someone used it for their install with this monitor.1/8″ 12″x12″. I also bought some longer screws from HomeDepot since the screws that hold the monitor to mounting bracket are short.

   Looks nice, not as bulky as the DVD I had previously. Only problem is that my firestick keeps resetting so I’m unsure if it the stick or the usb outlet losing power that’s causing that issue. Will swap out Firesticks during my troubleshooting. Will also update. Pointless to have this screen if it’s going to keep causing my streaming device to reset. There is also a screen glitch. My kids will get annoyed.

   Quite frankly, it has a very good image resolution and the price is a wallet friendly.

   I have to video sources, a roku device on the HDMI and a dvd player with the RCA cables. Both work really good. I checked the reviews and most of them are complains against the sound. I mean, true it doesn’t have a 2.1 sorround sound, but it is decent enough. I installed on my expedition and everyone in the three seat rows can hear it perfectly.

   Now regarding the installation, honestly it is not a 10 min process and without experience I would say it could take you around 1hr (my case). It is not easy, especially working alone, trying to screw the screen to the bracket you need to be a good contortionist or have good flexibility to work on a reduced space. But once installed and when you see it working, your pride will rise to the roof, trust me.
