This is my fifth Garmin GPS over the years!!! With every new unit comes new features and benefits!!! I bought this one for the size (8”) and the smart phone APP! It is much easier to navigate, definitely faster at locating destinations and changes in route, easier to read, and extremely proactive compared to previous units! There must be a design flaw with this model, I returned the first one I got and I am returning its replacement for the same problem; Multiple instances of the device not turning off after the ignition is turned off. I liked the large screen, though.
