   I would not purchase anything from this merchant again. The monitor for the backup system stopped working after one day of use. The camera works great and appears well made. The monitor is made of thin plastic and has a ribbon cable to allow the monitor to pop up from the closed position. This cable is very flimsy. I hooked up a different monitor to the system and the system worked, proving that the monitor was the faulty component. I contacted Dashcamera.us.com and the merchant to get the monitor replaced. The merchant refused to replace just the monitor. The merchant informed me that I would have to remove the camera, sensors and wiring from my car and return everything to get the monitor fixed. The install was not difficult, but was very time consuming and I of course already drilled the holes in the bumper for the sensors. It would not not be worth the time and effort to remove the backup system, return it and reinstall the repaired system. It would be only a matter of time until the repaired monitor stopped working. The camera and 3 of the 4 sensors work great. One sensor has a very short range. The monitor design is faulty with the position of the ribbon cable. I kept the system and replaced the monitor myself.

   I reviewed this previously and I’m changing my rating. The original problem I had was caused by a bad wire connector. I had that changed out and it works pretty well. The pop-up feature doesn’t work anymore after 3 weeks. Good camera, but lowering rating because of faulty equiment being shipped and pop-up spring not working anymore.. Work it manually though and it’s worth the buy.

   Love the way it displays. Its easy to fix it. Beeper is loud enough to hear it from anywhere in car. Its has a second video port to add any other video if you need. Wire are all long enough to connect the parts all the way from back to front.

   The camera works great most of the time, not so good if it is raining. The ‘alerts’ are worthless. You have to be within 1-2 feet for them to beep. Too close to be of benefit. And when it is raining, it beeps constantly when in reverse. But it didn’t cost much, and it was the only one I found, so I am ok with this. Installed on a 15 year old pick-up truck. I do like the camera, but don’t count on the beeper things to prevent you backing into something. Watch your camera!

   this is what we really needed in my wife’s car as it will help her to see and know when objects are in her way & it has the extra back up sensors with the hole bit as part of the order making it way easier to install sensors.
   The product arrived earlier than the estimated time of arrival!!
