I used this on a 300 mile trip where I am familiar with all the roads and exits. It tried to send me on a route over an hour out of the way, and failed to find an exit. On the return trip, it failed to alert me to a major traffic accident and detour. I had it running along side my 5 year old Garmin for comparison. I ordered this one for its large screen size. Mistake!

This has a big screen and is easy to read, see map and I like it a lot. It comes with a soft case so much of the time the GPS is in its protective case in the storage area between the two front seats. Thus far the mapping has been exactly right with good audio instructions about turns, etc. It also has yes/No buttons for have you reached the destination. I like that and it’s the first GPS I’ve had with this feature. Over the years I’ve bought several GPS’s. I bought this one because the Garmin stopped working (after a lot of years) but I found the Garmin interface very clunky and awkward. This one is much easier.

This GPS system does not work right at all. It is slow and will not update my time. Does not keep daylight savings time. Also, it is not user friendly at all. If you buy this, you most likely will need to return it.
