Installation was simple after watching the video. They even included a tool to help disassemble the existing mirror cover. There are two apps for the iPhone that appear to have the same functionality: Viidure and FITCAMX. Both work with my camera. I thought the micro SD card would be inaccoafyer installation but you can still get to it. They even provide a USB card reader.

Fits my Nissan Rogue perfectly and is essentially invisible since it becomes part of the normal pieces of my Rogue. Removing the tabs from the factory installed cover and installing them on the Fitcamx cover is difficult. The tabs are metal and I had to force them off. I really though I was destroying them because I had to use so much force, but they finally came off and with slightly less force I installed them on the Fitcamx cover. Also, fishing the wire into the overhead console is a bit more difficult than it appears in the installation video. Once installed it works perfectly. I installed this because I was involved in an accident where the other driver lied about what happened. His insurance company believed his nonsensical lies and refused to pay damages. My agent said this is the normal way it works, but suggested that dashcam video could have proven my case. It has already been useful. A crazy driver had an accident and called the police claiming that I had caused the accident. I showed the officer the video and he just laughed and said that I was not at all involved. I will never have another car without dashcam.
