   This wasn’t my first time that I’ve opened up that part of my dash in my Toyota. The problem is there are no directions, the harnesses fit and it fits into the dash nicely but when it came time testing if the steering wheel buttons would work with this unit. I was left in the dark. So after extensive search on the internet, I was able to find somebody that had that same problem and described how to sync the unit to the buttons. I reached out to customer service and unfortunately they are not in the country and only work through email or Whatsapp. You have to go to steering wheel settings and sync the buttons, it quite annoying. I finally have it in and working functionally except for one of the buttons (mode) on the steering wheel still is not working with the unit, it just won’t sync. I also dislike that every time the car starts it doesn’t automatically connect Bluetooth to my phone. You actually have to push a button for it to sync up. Possibly. I could be wrong about some of this because there are no directions so I think I have it installed correctly but who knows because you’re left in the dark.

   As others have said, the device itself has good quality and no hassle to install. But for wheel control sync/set, the included user manual misses the instructions. By following the online videos for other brands, I tried to get into the “factor settings”, it asks for password. I tried the online suggested “8888” typical one for Android system, but it does not work. This is frustrating. If the user manual is improved, I would give 5 stats.

   this upgraded head unit for the sienna has been night and day difference! its been so nice to have a big screen in the car now and it makes playing music and using navigation and carplay much easier. less stress more go. i love it. price is low for how high quality it truly is ! plug and play !!!!!
