   4UCam was the best combination of quality product, price, and established company (they have a track record, and I can trust they’ll be around if there are issues).

   On our 20-foot RV there’s plenty of signal to reach the monitor even without raising the antennas on camera or monitor.

   The DIY videos I found online deal with mounting the camera onto a Furion base, which wasn’t the case for me. The attached photos show my situation (original running light hole is too large for camera bracket) and my solution – $7 light switch cover with extra holes drilled to match screw holes in RV and for attaching camera bracket. Video shows the result, with liberal use of silicone to avoid water getting in, it looks pretty good.

   One thing I wish were different: The monitor’s green/amber/red Guide Lines – supposedly showing the edges of the RV – are much wider than my RV, and I wish the Lines could be edited to match our width.

   I use this setup as a rear view on multiple trailers. Both have fibre glass bodies. I’ve had multiple problems until I found out 2 things. First a good ground is absolutely necessary. Second. The red power line coming out of the camera is like a 26 or 28 gauge wire. When extending it to a power source you MUST use a larger gauge wire. I used 18 gauge. What happens if you use a cord same size as the camera has you get the 12volts but no amperage. To little amperage leaves you with no signal and a black screen. Some amperage but not enough will allow you a split screen. Full battery amp will give full screen and a long range of clear pic from camera to screen.
