   Description

   My wife has been wanting a dash cam for a while now. When She first got interested a while back, the cameras were kind of expensive and not that great. When I saw this camera on Dashcamera.us.com and the price, I just had to check it out, and I’m glad I did. It comes with everything you need to get you going all in one box.
   It includes 2 quick release mounts so you can use it in multiple vehicles. The PRO model here includes a rear camera, a handy tool to help you bury the wiring and all the supplies needed for installation. The app is super useful and once trips are downloaded to your phone, you can play the trip back and see actual GPS data. So even if it was foggy or rainy or dark, you will have actual GPS data and be able to see exactly what was going on if an incident were to happen. There’s a G-force detector built in that lets this camera lock the loop that is currently being recorded. It comes with a 64GB Micro SD so you can get going right out of the box, although we upgraded to 256GB. The front facing camera is 1440p at 60FPS, or you can go to 2160p at 30FPS. The rear cam is 1080p. It is tiny, easy to take with you or better yet, you can leave it in the car and have proof should someone who has had a few too many bump into you if you leave it on parking mode

   Manual

   Let me just say that when we buy products from overseas, the instructions are often sparse. Simple English words horribly misspelled, grammar that sounds like the writer just started learning English a week ago…. Not here. All the printed material that comes with the H200 PRO are amazing. Clear, detailed instructions for use, installation, troubleshooting, etc. Written beautifully! I had to look just to verify that it is, in fact, made overseas. They have a chatbot built in to the app and when I had a minor issue because I only read half the instructions before starting, I got answers from the factory as to why, and they even showed me the page in the book that I should have read…more on that in a minute. The user guide has full color pictures and illustrations that make it easy to see each screenshot, so you will know how to use the camera and be competent with the device immediately. There is also a quick start guide that shows you in illustrated detail just how to install set up and operate the H200 PRO. It was pretty straightforward, and everything you could possibly need to install this system in your ride is in the box. In addition, they give step-by-step instructions on hiding all the wiring so that your car will look like nobody changed a thing until you see the little black box on the inside of your windshield. If it doesn’t quite work the way you’d like, an extensive troubleshooting guide will help you work out any bugs in your setup.

   Install
   Speaking of the installation, you can get the forward cam (the main unit) installed in about half an hour with hiding the power cable and everything. Unlike cheaper units that only have a rear facing camera on the back of the box, so everybody in the cabin is blocking your view, there is a separate 1080p rear camera that mounts inside the rear window, and they include a 30-foot cable so that it can be hooked up in a snap. Optionally, an exterior camera that is weatherproof is also available. Install supplies are included, and you can set up a 2nd vehicle to use the cam with the included mounting bracket and self-adhesive mounting tape. Along with this comes wire clips that are really secure and work great for under the dash and also routing the power and rear camera cables neatly along the edge of your headliner at the top of the windshield, They even include a cool plastic pry bar that is used to tuck the wires under plastic panels as well as stuff cables neatly under the edge of the headliner, or carpets, etc.

   Support

   They have a free app on the play store that allows you to save videos, playback, etc. So video of an incident can then be transferred to a computer, shared with attorneys or law enforcement, etc.,
   It includes GPS data so that when you play the video back, on the top part of your screen, the actual GPS log plays back below, showing you where you were at any crucial moment in case of an incident, as well as how fast you were driving, etc. You will be able to do firmware updates through the app as well.

   There was just one issue that we had (at least we thought it was an issue) and it has to do with the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi on this unit allows you to download and view videos directly on your phone as well as do things like update the firmware, and even get to all the settings for the camera right from your device. While it does use a Wi-Fi signal 802.11xx, it is not for the internet. It allows a local area network connection between you and your phone or laptop. I installed everything in my wife’s car, and she couldn’t connect to the camera because her phone was still connected to our Wi-Fi. I messaged tech support and got info and advice from the company in a couple of hours, including a copy of the page in the manual that I had overlooked. So be sure you’re on the same network together and that you’re not connected to your home Wi-Fi for internet use. That is outstanding customer service, and support after the sale. That is a big reason why I am happy with the purchase, and I would absolutely check out their other products as well. Excellent value!

   Love everything about this! It’s not a Blackvue, but you’re paying like a third of the price for pretty much all the features that you’ll find in a top end front and rear dash cam. Build quality is solid, albeit plasticky, but everything feels right and tight and I love the amount of accessories that are included. Outside of the regular cables/car charger, it comes with positioning stickers, a microsd card, EXTRA window stickers (cuz what if you change cars?), cable routing clips, and even a pry tool if you want to tuck in wires when routing your rear camera.

   As far as usage, the menu/system of the dash cam is rather simple, but in a good way. It’s easy to navigate with the buttons and the huge screen, so no complaints there. The quality of pretty decent, although 4k blows through the included memory card rather quickly, so I dialed back the video to 2.5k at 30fps. It’s not as good as 4k, but hey – if it really is insufficient later on (say for reading license plates further than 15 ft), then I can always pick up a card bigger than the included 64GB (256GB is pretty cheap nowadays).

   Love it so far and hoping it’ll last for years like my last dashcam (shoutout Vantrue N2)!

   This dash cam is fantastic! The video quality is clear, both day and night, and the wide-angle lens captures everything on the road. Setup was quick and easy, and the loop recording ensures I never have to worry about storage. The parking mode is a great bonus for added security.    The user interface of the dash cam is refreshingly straightforward, which makes it easy to operate. Navigating through the menu is intuitive, thanks to the well-laid-out buttons and the large screen, ensuring a smooth experience without any frustration. The image quality is solid overall, but I found that recording in 4K consumes the provided memory card’s space quite rapidly.I suggest inserting a 256GB card for 4K recording.

   One notable feature is the loop recording, which automatically overwrites older footage to free up space, and the G-sensor, which ensures recordings are locked during sudden impacts, which offers peace of mind in the event of an accident. The parking mode is another excellent addition, as it provides added protection even when the car is parked.

   Overall, Love the camera as the roads are getting more dangerous. This is a must-have to keep yourself safe on the road!
