I was so excited to put this on my travel trailer but when I got this camera I wasn’t amused at all. If it comes to a packaging and quality control, unless this was used should get 0 stars. Channel on camera monitor place where you hook up the arm with suction cup looks like it was hacked with a saw, rough, uncoated and has already a rust spots. Body had lines and scratches. Camera by itself big bulky and heavy. Screen has at most resolution 480p. There is a few options to move the colored guides on the screen but when you put the camera on top of your trailer, looks like the lines float in the air. For this price I look somewhere else

This works well on my 5th wheel at over 50 feet plus my truck and had 0 issue with reception. It is a bit pricey considering the quality of the monitor. The camera build is top notch, and then they pair it with pretty much a $10 monitor. The camera body is cast metal and sealed. Can’t judge the camera quality due to the monitor quality.

The camera picture is very clear, the waterproof effect is also very good, and it can be used in rainy days. You can clearly observe the situation behind while driving, and the reversing image is also very good. Suitable for trucks and trailers. I have it installed on my RV. Replace the original reversing camera. It’s working fine now and I love it.

I installed this on the back of my 24 foot travel trailer and it makes backing into campsites so much easier! The camera is able to easily send a good picture to the included monitor while it sits on the dash of my truck and saves me from having to make multiple dismounts to check for clearance as I back my camper into tight spots. It is also neat to be able to leave on and see how close people are to my bumper while driving, which also assists in lane changes. I definitely recommend hooking this up to a running light so all you have to do to turn on the camera is switch on your headlights.
Overall it may seem a little pricey, but the price is well worth it knowing backing up your camper or trailer into something would be a LOT more expensive than the cost of this unit.

It is a shame the manufacturers or whoever packages this item do not box it in a manner to prevent damage while in transit. I chose to return the first one received after noticing the camera lens protective glass was badly cracked, but also Dashcamera.us.com merely put the item in its factory box in just a plastic shipping bag which is quite ok for shipping a shirt. On inspecting the replacement, which to my disappointment was shipped in the same manner and once again found the built in lens cover cracked. Apart from that, the system works 100% as claimed. I use it mounted inside my trailer home providing me with a view of following traffic.
