First off, not sure where this version comes from but it’s like the cheap/nothing works as it should model. The buttons do not illuminate AND the odometer is now blinking. There is no solution as this mode does not have the options to get the odometer to stop blinking.

Was pretty easy to instal and looks factory! I didn’t install a backup camera or the Mac system so I didn’t have to use a lot of the wires it came with. Wish it came with radio removal tool but found some for 10 dollars at auto zone. An issue with the odometer blinking but a simple fix with tutorials on YouTube. Even my car audio guy was impressed. He thought all android units were rubbish until he got to play with this device!
Note: If you want to only use CarPlay you can get one with less memory and will cost less.

Most of the wires that came with the unit we’re unnecessary for me and after finding a couple install videos online the install was a breeze. All steering wheel buttons function, but the can bus connector is kind of loose so just keep an eye on that if the steering wheel buttons stop working. Audio is as good if not better then the stock unit. The unit connects super quick after start up. The flashing Odometer was an issue for me, but the unit has a built in fix under the carinfo button on the main menu. It was option #2 for me. I’ll adjust my review if any issues pop up, but this has made my car feel like new with the wireless options added to it.

It’s ok takes a minute to read your phone and connect to BT. Random connection issues leave you soundless until you reconnect BT a couple times. For some reason mph/km speedometer keeps changing

This was incredibly easy to install. The plugs just plug right into the car’s wiring. I had an issue with the car odometer flashing after install but they responded to my email right away and walked me through some configurations to try that solved the problem. I wasn’t planning on installing a backup camera but I probably will because it’s already set up for it. When I put the car in reverse, the volume lowers and the screen switches to “no signal” because I don’t have a camera yet. It even displays car messages like leaving a door open. Pretty impressive for a very good price.

Easy to install. No wiring terminations required, though the unit has lots of extra wires if you need to connect anything extra, like a sub or some other device. Was up and running in 30 min. Had the odometer flast and just switched to #2 in the setting under Car Info on the main menu (swipe left on main screen for app drawer). Tested all functions and everything works flawlessly. It runs fast and has a ton of customization possibility. All the CANBUS SWC features worked. The AC ducts need to be carefully taken apart (remove original grille from ducts) and put back in behind the dash. Use several small screwdrivers for that and leave the ducts full open when you put them back in. Celcius to Fahrenheit was #8888 in the settings button in the about page. If you want to add carplay or android auto to your 500 or 500e this one is nice.
