I’m so sick of trying to find an affordable CarPlay radio that I’m just going to keep this one and hope that they offer an update that I can download in the future to fix everything. CarPlay worked wireless on day 1, then stopped for a month. Then I got it to work but only with the USB, then after a month it started taking a long time to sync. Now it doesn’t work. There’s all these buttons on the perimeter but not one for CarPlay? The right knob is reversed, counter clockwise rotation goes to higher station numbers. The unusable AC controls are on the bottom of the screen but I can’t turn them off. I can’t change the layout of the home screen like I can on all other CarPlay units. The right knob should have an option to switch through my favorite radio channels but it doesn’t. On hot days it takes a very long time for the stereo to boot up and the cool looking Toyota boot up screen only appeared on Day 1! The speaker fade control is so sensitive it’s either in the Front or Back, no fine controls. Who programs these things?! Do these companies really not do any simple testing or offer any tech support?
