I’ve had this camera connected to my car for a couple of months now. Connection was simple. I used the license plate bracket and ran the wire behind my tail light fixture. It only takes a pair of pliers to connect the wires to your reverse lights. The reciever is suctioned to my windshield and plugged into a multiplug lighter adapter. It picked right up, no connection required.
The picture is clear during the day as well as at night. I have had no failures or problems with it.
Adjusting the angle of the camera was the hardest part. I recommend having someone or something behind you at a set distance to help you get the camera angled for your vehicle.
Over all, this was a great and easy addition for my older vehicle. Installation only took about 15 minutes.

Installed it on my 25′ RV as a continuous rear view camera. Picture is excellent even when driving at highway speeds. Be sure you have the polarity right or the camera will not function. You will know immediately if you have the wiring right. If you don’t get a picture simply reverse the wires. Good value for the camera, receiver and mounts. Very happy with the purchase. It took about an hour to install, but I had to do some drilling on my RV to mount it where I wanted it. I’m sure attaching it to the license plate would be much faster.

I mounted this on the top rear of my camper (27ft coupler to bumper length) The signal showed strong nearly all the time with the screen mounted at the top of the windshield of a Ford Expedition. Sometimes it would get very laggy when the signal got weak for some reason. Interference? The Image does seem to have some lag to it normally though. I could watch a car pass me in the camera. When it was almost out of view, I could see the car along side me. But that shouldn’t really matter. The viewing angle of the camera is such that when a car is just visible in the screen, it’s a safe following distance. But a passing car can close that distance pretty quickly. 100% would buy again.

This system works well and has a clear, solid signal but the color is awful! Reminiscent of a 20 year old $5 surveillance camera I purchased direct from China. I purchased this for our camping trailer for an upcoming trip and haven’t checked it out while on the road yet so that part of the review will follow eventually. The “130 degree” camera is only 70 degrees or so at best and has a very narrow field of view. 130 degrees is extremely wide and I have some surveillance cameras which claim that spec but have a much wider view than this! For this to be useful from the top/rear of an RV. You must file out the bracket slots to be able to adjust the camera angle enough to be able to see at least a few cars behind you, not just straight down a few feet behind you.
I posted 2 pics to demonstrate how off the colors are. Green grass looks purple!
Update:
Actual usage while mounted to my trailer was very solid. No problems with signal dropouts or connecting at all for our cross country trip!

Installed this on my Aframe trailer. It works well. Installs on license plate holder. Too bad my license plate is not in the middle of trailer due to spare tire holder. The one con is the wiring. Ususally u connect red to red wire or black to red etc. The wires were opposite, white to red /black. Not sure if this was camera or rv issue. Otherwise, good value.
My much handier friend hooked it up for me in minutes. I’m less handy and could have done it in an hour or two, while breaking parts of trailer or camera LOL.

I’d hoped this would work for our 22 foot Airstream. But, once installed, the signal is not strong enough to reach the monitor in the tow vehicle. For testing, I plugged monitor in inside travel trailer and works fine. Too bad, because it has a pretty decent image on the monitor.
