Got this box mainly for wireless CarPlay, and while it connects fine, it’s kinda slow and buggy. Watching YouTube is a pain – freezes after a minute, and I gotta reboot it. The setup was easy, and it’s good enough as a basic wireless adapter, but not much else. The extra features don’t work smoothly. Could use a serious update!

This wireless CarPlay and Android Auto adapter is an interesting device with some limitations. While it’s easy to set up and offers a convenient way to stream media to your car’s dashboard screen, it didn’t manage to meet my expectations for rear-seat entertainment.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use this device to play videos from my phone directly to the rear seat screens in my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. It seems to only work with the main screen, which isn’t ideal for passengers in the middle row.
Another drawback is the need to manually log in to apps like YouTube each time I want to play something. The onscreen keyboard is cumbersome to use, and it would be much more convenient if the device could save my login information.
Overall, this device is a decent option for anyone looking to stream media to their car’s dashboard screen. However, if you’re hoping to use it for rear-seat entertainment, it may not be the best solution.

This CarPlay Wireless adapter is fantastic! It was super easy to set up, taking just a few minutes out of the box. Its small footprint and sleek design make it a perfect addition to my car. It supports both CarPlay and Android Auto, giving me flexibility regardless of my device. You do need a WiFi connection to run GPS, Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services, but it handles them all flawlessly. The startup is fast, and the Bluetooth connection is strong and stable over long distances. One thing to note is that the video lags behind the audio when using CarPlay, but this is expected and not an issue for me since I don’t look at my phone while driving. Overall, this adapter is well-made and offers excellent functionality, making it a great investment for anyone looking to upgrade their in-car experience. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this magic box adapter, however the operating system is too slow and buggy to be functional. I primarily wanted to use this to watch a youtube live stream. I was able to get my iphone connected to the Bluetooth and was able to get the box connected to my phone’s hotspot for internet access. The box didn’t have very good instructions on how to navigate the menus. I did figure out how to switch between the operating system and Carplay. As a carplay adapter alone, this box worked about 80% of the time. When I try to watch youtube I get about 30 seconds of video and then the box locks up with a rotating buffering icon. It never comes back on until I unplug and reboot the box. This happens every time on WIFI or on my phone’s hotspot. I got frustrated with this and now just use it as a wireless carplay adapter. It does have a slot for a SIM card and a memory card. Maybe with it’s own cellular plan this would work better. I am not sure and I am not going to pay a monthly fee to find out. Maybe they will come out with a software update to address these issues in the future. Until then, I can’t recommend this box.

It does not work good at all. If it worked, it would be easy to use but it is just frustrating. The connection is finicky at best. It could be a great product, but as it is now it isn’t worth what you’re paying for it.
