   i installed this in my car, and it’s been a huge upgrade. the screen is big and clear, and wireless carplay works flawlessly. setting it up was pretty straightforward, and it fits well. the sound quality is good too. only issue is the occasional lag with the touch screen, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

   I worked installing car stereos part-time over a six year period and was licensed as a master installer from one stereo manufacturer, but I was stymied that the item was shipped without any kind of installation instructions. The item comes with a full array of wiring harnesses, and I was pretty sure of the hookups, but I still would have loved to have had instructions. I double checked on YouTube for other installs and found lots of help there. All in all installation was relatively easy, but I suggest professional installs or, at the least, the slow and easy approach by watching YouTube videos. The stereo works great after installation. The screen is bright and allows for Carplay, which is nice. Controls are easy to use.

   Connecting to my phone and working hands free is incredible. I like that it still works with the steering wheel buttons, because I wasn’t sure if it would. It’s so nice to be able to stream music rather than just rely on local radio stations.
