This was the 5th android radio I tried in my RAV4. This is the only unit I found on Dashcamera.us.com that actually works with voice dictation in all apps and CarPlay works.
Caution: I ran into a strange error. For some unknown reason, the screen stopped responding. If you have this error, press all 5 fingers on the screen using one hand for a few seconds, and the screen recalibration will come up. If you need to do a factory reset, press the reset button with a paper clip 9 times.
So far so good except for the error above!

I bought this on a Black Friday sale with the understanding it would be too cold outside to install it until spring. That was a bad idea because now I’m stuck with it. I don’t think it is awful but there are definitely some issues. First and foremost it did not come with the adapters to plug into my car! My Rav4 came with the JBL upgrade which I assume changes the plugs in the back and I had to buy two additional harnesses to make it work. Additionally, once I got it working the unit would power up even without the key in it, so when I turned off the car I had to turn off the Stereo. Lastly, It has a little lag in the interface and the sound quality of the phone call wasn’t great. I never did get the backup camera set up and pulled the unit out of my car for now. I would return it if I could.
