This CarPlay display is heavy and is well made. The Bluetooth pairing with the phone was quick and easy. I was able to setup the CarPlay within a few minutes. The touch screen is responsive abcs the unit boots up quickly. The user interface is also well designed with a clean look. I really like this product. However, I must point out two negatives, in my personal opinion, about this product. The first one is the mount. The mount is attached to the display directly ands it is not removable. And the bottom of the mount is the adhesive to attach to the dash. This means the CarPlay is permanently mounted to the dash. So you can not remove it and hide it when you are parked in some neighborhood that may have car theft crimes. Nor can you take the unit out from one car and use it on another car. The second shortcoming is the lack of built-in dash and rear camera. This is almost standard in many CarPlay Android Auto products on the market today. As such, I only rate this product with a 4-star.

This touchscreen is pretty good. It is quick to respond to your touch, and connects via bluetooth to your phone very quickly. One downside of that though, is that if someone else is driving, your phone will automatically connect, and it will be a bit annoying to switch over to someone else’s phone. The other downside is that the the FM transmitter does not work very well, and you have to get it in that sweet spot or else all you hear is static. Overall, it does what it was advertised to do, just not as well as I had hoped.

Very easy to set up and use. My 2013 explorer did not have the CarPlay option when new so I use this device to display the Waze app. It is easy to use and has a variety of setting to customize the features.

I wanted to add something to my krx 1000 for when I go to west virginia trail riding with the option of having navigation to know where we are at so we don’t get lost.
This did not take up too much room and I use it with my ds-18 head unit. So I got all the music and navigation now. It does have to solid mount to a location so keep that in mind. Whether it be a side by side or a car.
All the features are simple and easy to use. For the price and what you get this one is hard to beat. Only wish it would have came with a built in batter so you can remove it and use it outside of a car or side by side but no big deal at all.

So… I ordered this device, fully expecting it to be a gimmick. Boy, was my expectations WRONG. It took a moment even with the guide to get the in-car bluetooth working with my 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek.
I’ve seen mentions of others here that say that the steering wheel controls worked with the device, unfortunately that didn’t work for me, but that’s OK.
I’m using it with Android Auto, running Google Maps and Spotify. So far, it’s worked quite nicely and connects the moment the car powers on. I have noticed a couple blips here and there where the device seemed to drop out but came back just fine while connected wirelessly.
Wired, hasn’t dropped out like that so far but this thing definitely does work, especially once I plopped it on the dashboard in front of the infotainment center since I didn’t care about the info display there. It’s perfectly positioned there for my needs. It works, and works surprisingly well.
