I bought mine through my local dealership.
1. lenses aren’t Polarized. So, if the sun is up, video is completely white glare. I tried installing a polarized lens on it, with no effect.
2. Wifi connection is difficult and sometimes impossible. If your vehicle has wifi, your vehicle must be turned off completely and you cannot be near any other wifi you connect to.
At the end of the day, AVOID wasting your money on this dashcam.

Pretty easy to use and is small , does not block drivers view. Recording quality great.
Wifi playback of forward camera has problems with freezing when played back on iphones. Installer reproduced same problem on their phone. And yet again on a different c310r. Alpine denies there is a problem. Maybe we were just really unlucky. I’ll just have to remove disk and playback on PC. That works just fine.
One very odd thing. This is not a back up camera system yet the rear camera image is inverted and there is no option to correct that.
