I mounted this dash cam on my car mainly for recording my normal daily commute. This camera has a three-channel recording. It covers the entire road when driving. I had fairly clear shots even during nighttime travel. It comes with a 64 gig SD card that auto loops. I upgraded to an endurance one since I live in hotter conditions. You can view the footage from the SD card or directly on the dashcam itself. I feel a lot better driving with a dashcam since so many erratic drivers are on the road nowadays.
