I picked this up after having it recommended to me on various forums to try to use my Pixel 6 Pro with Android Auto in a new car that only supports Apple’s CarPlay feature. It was easy to set up following the instructions. Unfortunately I found it to be unreliable. Not only is the initial boot up time very slow, I suffered from frequent disconnects while driving. Since it uses wireless AA, I found the battery drain on the phone to be significant as well, so I had to keep the phone plugged into a charger, negating the benefits of wireless AA. I ended up giving this away since it was outside the return window when I got too frustrated to keep using it and switching to an iPhone supported by the car.

I simply plugged it into my USB support, connected my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi via hotspot and it started working immediately. About a year and a half after my initial purchase I decided to do a firmware upgrade up grade and I contacted support. nothing to like about, it would take a while to start in my car, sometimes it would not even start I am not sure, but the software and apps were super laggy and very slow, the 4gb should be enough to support the apps to work properly, but it is very slow, sometimes the app would crash and close on me and I would have to start all over again.
