This system is very small and can replace the spot for a oem radio in a car. It can take sometime to remove the dash and the radio. However, you will have to cut some wires and connect them to the wires from the car so it will be difficult for those who don’t know that kind of stuff. This does not have bluetooth but a usb connector, and its audio connects to the vehicles speakers via the wires. It is well made and not cheap looking or cheaply built.
Very beautiful, very powerful.

I’ve purchased 5 of these so far over the last 2 years. I install them in cars I flip. Previously I had used no name apple car play radios but upgraded to the boss products as the cheap no name radios had software issues and locked up in CarPlay mode. The Boss radios do not do that. They work well and the software works smoothly. Plus I like a volume knob as opposed to a touch screen for volume adjustment. I will continue to use them.

This is a great purchase. Have a professional install it and it will work like a charm. My subwoofer delivers continuous power when used and I’ve had no issues with the Apple car play. The Apple car play is based through the cord in the back on the radio so ask them to plug your charger onto the USB adapter and have them to run it under the dash board so you can connect your phone and utilize all the Apple car play features. The screen is about as sensitive as your iPhones so no need to jab the screen every time you want to press a button. The only thing that has me curious about this radio is that the EQ is all in Hertz (HZ or MHZ) so you would need knowledge of which line is for bass, treble, etc. overall great quality radio. Microphone is awesome I have it attached right about my steering wheel. When I talk to people through the radio there are no clarity issues. Giving voice commands is easy. Radio is able to read incoming messages and you can verbally respond and send.

I got this stereo to replace the factory stereo in my 2008 chevy cobalt. I personally really like this one for a few reasons most notably because it has a physical volume knob which makes adjusting the volume without looking much easier. This however comes with the cost of a slightly smaller screen but I think the trade off is more than worth it since I don’t look at it while driving. Despite being a lot cheaper than similar units it delivers all the features I would expect and I have not had any complaints. The touch controls are solid — you select the things that you mean to but its not quite as accurate as the latest phones. Installation was very simple with a make/model appropriate wiring adapter. The dash install kit I got with it almost makes it look stock 😉 Overall this stereo massively upgraded my driving experience.

This is a great radio for the price. The radio arrived overnight And took about an hour to install.
The quality of the radio is up there with more expensive brands. All of the features seem to work well, including Apple CarPlay, the touchscreen and all of the buttons.
The radio only goes up to 50 which I found to be a little strange and felt that the radio could be louder, but overall it Works for me.
The microphone that comes with the radio for Hands-free calling also seems to work well. I have made several calls using it.
I installed a 1999 Dodge ram 2500 Cummins pick up truck.
I would recommend this. I bought several cheaper Chinese radios that didn’t fit or just seem to be downright cheap. This option was the best value for me.

It worked okay for a few years. Volume never got that loud. Sound was okay. Screen worked good. Light use. Its not my daily driver. The volume button quit working and got completely stuck. (out of nowhere. I’m gentle with my electronics) I had to put a lot of force on it to get it unstuck, and even now, its still sticking. Coincidentally, now the Bluetooth connection is choppy. It skips when you’re playing music. (Like a phone call with bad reception.) there’s no volume buttons on the screen, so it makes it almost completely unuseable.
That was my favorite feature anyhow.
I don’t mind something that is not the best, as long as it will last. This does not. Stick to the good brands. You know the ones I mean. They have cheaper models without the latest and greatest technology. I don’t care about fancy screens, I want my radio to work and sound good, and I want my physical buttons with volume knob. So I’m going back to them.

I do not use Apple Carplay (it doesn’t work with an Android phone, which is what I have), so I have no experience with that part of this unit, but I am completely satisfied with my Boss BE62CP-C unit. I selected this because it has a volume KNOB, which I prefer, although my installer added an adapter that lets me also use the steering wheel controls on my 2011 Camry. The touch screen display is clear, the controls and the user interface are sensible, the backup camera view is perfect, the sound is great. I have had no trouble with the Bluetooth connection to my Android Galaxy. I’ve only received one phone call while I was driving, and my contact had no trouble understanding me, and I could hear him clearly. Most of the time I listen to music on a 32G USB stick; the Boss unit didn’t flinch at the size of my music library. The randomize function works, unlike my last MP3 player radio. I _really_ appreciate that I can not only turn the screen off when I’m listening to music, but also when the unit is switched off (showing a clock)–very important for safe driving at night. All in all I am very happy with my choice, and pleased that it came at a very reasonable price. This is highly recommended.
