I want to like this, but unfortunate the instructions are inadequate. It says it fits all Scion 2012-2015 models, and I have the correct head unit.
Unfortunately, the instructions (both written and the video they link to) have different wiring layouts (by the brake) than my Scion IQ does. It says to splice it into the pink wire that goes into the 5th pin, but I simply don’t have that. See attached photos of mine, vs the video instructions for Scion cars.
I tried to contact them for help, but didn’t receive any response. If they end up responding I will update my review but until then I’m a bit frustrated given that I now have to bring the reverse trigger wire all the way to the back of the car to tie into the taillights (can’t find wiring layout documentation online either).

2014 scion tc monogram with pioneer bespoke radio. I only had to splice the power wires and ground wires together from harness to camera cable, and then it plugged straight in to my radio and worked immediately. Didn’t have to use the reverse trigger wire

The camera was easy to install, just watched a few youtube videos. The hardest part was tapping into the reverse trigger wire (reverse light) – which was a Pink one, but there three pink wires – on the plug at driverside foot well, it’s on the left side of the harness. Works great. The rear cover plate has the location premarked for the install so easy to know where to drill the hole.

Camera works great the kit itself works with aftermarket headunit and not OEM as mentioned. I thought my headunit was the issue it turns out it was not. I went as far as to buying another Scion FRS headunit for a newer year “2015”. Customer service was not great. I asked for helped and they seemed very lost as too why it was plug and play. I was able to set up the whole kit but now the only thing missing is the actual plug to connect to my headunit. The whole point of the kit is to be plug and play and that didn’t work. So upset.
