Even though this is a nonsense name product, it works as well as any of the brand name carplay adapters. All you need to do is establish a connection with the device you want to stream from, plug in the adapter, and you are ready to go. With some of these carplay adapters, the connection is weak and you have to constantly repair with your device – not the case here, the connection is strong and stable. The only negative with this is that it does crank out a lot of heat. It hasn’t shut down due to heat, but I have a very small USB fan I keep blowing on it for when it will be running for hours. Overall, this is a good carplay adapter if you don’t mind buying something from a nonsense name brand.

I plugged in the device and waited for it to sync with the car. It didn’t take long. Once connected, the screen mirrored my phone. The apps I use daily were there. I could see YouTube and Netflix right away. I clicked on YouTube first, just to see if it would load smoothly. The video played without buffering, which was good. After that, I tried the music player. The sound came through the car speakers, just as it should.
Switching between apps wasn’t complicated. I didn’t have to go through a lot of menus, and the touch controls were responsive. I tried setting up the LED lights, but it took me a few tries to get the color right. The lights changed with the music, which was noticeable but not too distracting.
The system didn’t freeze, even when I was multitasking. Watching videos and using the GPS at the same time worked fine. I noticed that the auto connection feature was convenient, it just started up when the car did. No need to manually connect it each time. I haven’t tried every feature yet, but so far it does what I need. The whole experience was straightforward, nothing fancy, just functional. I’ll keep using it and see if it holds up.
