   The price was below the normal range for this product. Now I know why. The receiver was described as new, but it was really an “open box” with shipping form, mounting parts and screws missing. Fortunately the receiver still works and I was able to source mounting material elsewhere. Be careful about the seller’s description and the price, it it is too good to be true….

   It seems to work as advertised, but the manual is very inadequate. I had to call Dual tech support to get instructions how to hook up the power! That should be a no-brainer, but it wasn’t. And, how about explaining that to turn off the unit, you press and HOLD the power button. If you only briefly press it, it merely mutes the sound.

   I had this for years, but the touchscreen started acting up and after getting wet from an unrelated repair. I began shopping for a replacement. Most of them (Boss, Pioneer, etc.) had some flashy features, but frightening reviews.

   When I found this was still available at a great price, I got it. BLOWN AWAY! It looks and sounds as great as before, but they’ve updated the electronics so it’s far quicker to respond to the screen taps and changes than the old one. Also I think the built-in microphone got an upgrade, because it sounds far better on hands-free calls than the old model. I’m extremely pleased I didn’t pay more for another brand.

   Product did not work. Fried upon arrival. Would not power up. Plug it in to a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with harness adapter and wouldn’t power on. Tried it in 2 other vehicles at my shop with compatible harness and still no power. Volt meter won’t register. So now it sits in the backseat of a spare car. Worthless. Only reason I haven’t sent it back is I’ve had so much trouble dealing with another company over an interior set I ordered I no longer have patience for any Dashcamera.us.com vendor who uses FedEx, nor do I want to deal with the hassle of sending a box out- I live in the boondocks of Oklahoma no where near a town. In fact, the only reason I even decided to write this is I just received an email asking me to rate the consumer & I know you can’t get a refund without dealing with shipping boxes etc. I get it, I’m a jerk – but I just prefer someone send a working product the first time ordered in a timely fashion & for me the inconvenience isn’t worth the effort required

   Great product for the price. You’re not gonna win any stereo competitions with this one but for the $90 price range it’s excellent. DVD video inputs and outputs. I have it hooked up to an over head screen for the kids to watch in the back seat. Micro SD works well. Bluetooth music and calling is good. I’m very pleased with how it functions. There aren’t a lot of colors to choose as the main background, but again, dollar-for-dollar it’s excellent and does everything you need it to.

   good product cheap for what you get …i have the radio just go out sounds all garbled and ever since i installed it my batter all of a sudden goes dead in the vehicle i have checked wires to unit 3 times and car has 3 mo battery

   Sound drops out for a second about every 5 minutes or so. Sound is way full of midrange. Losses power and resets itself. Touch screen not very intuitive. There are way better choices out there.
