Very happy with this dashcam. I wanted something inconspicuous and easy to install. This cam tap into the power from the rearview mirror, the only difficulty is that power plug is at a tight spot. The app is actually quite well done and I recommend at least using it during the initial setup. The dashcam seem to default the resolution to 2592×1944. I set it to 3840×2160 and the quality seem decent enough for my purpose. I don’t know if they made a change to the camera but it seems to be angled higher than the previous reviewer.

I always thought this camera was working great, until I actually needed to view a specific incident that happened it front of me. I was on a road trip and witnessed a horrific car wreck that happened about fifty yards in front of me. At the scene nobody was sure how or why the accident even happened. I knew I had it on video so I was going to see what caused the wreck. When I got home later that day, I took the sim card out and tried to find the file. I knew the time it happened so it should’ve been easy. But for some reason there was a three hour of my drive missing, and the file I needed was in that missing window. There was absolutely no reason for why the camera wasn’t recording at the time. As I looked into the files closer I noticed that the camera had skipped long sections of recordings, and at multiple times throughout my daily drives.
This is the most unreliable dash cam I have ever owned. What a disappointment this thing turned out to be. If you are in the market for one, you should look elsewhere.

This product is a piece of garbage. The quality of the plastic shell is a hundred times worse than the stock part that comes with the car. Tabs break off way too easily and it’s so fiddly I didn’t manage to install it. I’m asking for a full refund

The only thing I like about this camera is the clean look. No extra wiring and mounting hardware. However, the non-adjustable camera angle really suck! Half of the frame is dashboard and hood/bonnet. Picture resolution also no as good as my much cheaper 6 years old HP dashcam. I hope they can at least point the lens higher if not adjustable to capture more of the road than the bonnet.

Poor quality, always disconnects form the phone. Always has to be unplugged and rest to fix camera so it will record. Waste of money
