Driving in my town has gone to crap so bought this to protect myself. Looks and feels so OEM than I forget it’s there. Press the power button once set up and you never have to turn it on again. Starts up when I turn the car on and turns off when I turn the vehicle off.
Some reviews complained about the looping feature – I’ve had 0 issues. Looping working exactly as expected.
The app works great, just note you cannot use Apple CarPlay while using the app. It can take a few seconds to load when you have a lot of footage though, not a big deal. You can also eject the branded Micro SDXC card to retrieve data manually. Video files are stored in storage folders for front and back as .TS files. Make sure to use VLC or another video player with .TS files to ensure viewing – QuickTime Player and other software may not be robust enough for .TS files.
