   I have to say, I was nervous about this purchase because it had no reviews yet. However, I loved the fact that it looked OEM, and coupled with the great reviews for the same product on other models of trucks, I gave it a shot. I’m glad I did. It installed very easily and quickly on my ’22 RAM Power Wagon, and works like a charm. I don’t love the app, mostly because I can’t be connected to my truck and the camera at the same time. But I didn’t buy it for the app. I just pull the SD card and I’ve got hours and hours of my driving at my disposal. Excellent video quality, too. My only complaint is that there is play around where you insert the SD card, and twice now I’ve missed the slot and had to use pliers to pull the card out and try again. That sucks, but now that I know, I just try not to repeat my mistake.

   Overall, it looks great, installs easily, and works like a charm. Highly recommended.

   I installed this and it looks really nice. Fits perfectly and the video and pictures are great quality as well. Installation isn’t as easy as they say or in the video. It’s pretty easy once you get the factory piece off but trying to get the factory plastic piece off was very hard. In the video they must of already had it off because it’s definitely not that easy. The blue plastic tool doesn’t work. I thought I was going to break my windshield or something else getting the piece off but once you get it off, you feel relieved and everything else is easy. Shipping takes forever. This is the reason for the 4 stars. If ordering through Dashcamera.us.com, you pretty much don’t deal with Dashcamera.us.com because it’s 4rd party seller. Why Dashcamera.us.com doesn’t keep a few of these items in their warehouse is a question mark but it comes from china and takes 2-3 weeks to get delivered so if this is something last minute, you’re gonna wait a few weeks before you get it, and the tracking doesn’t get updated either. But overall it’s worth the wait and it’s a nice camera and I’ll probably order one for my other vehicle

   It was time for a new dash cam and this one came highly recommended on the Ram forums for a clean install. I watched a few videos and ordered it. Within about 30 minutes I had an email from the company requesting a photo of my overhead / mirror area to confirm the correct model was selected. I have a 2021 Ram 3500 Longhorn with adaptive cruise control, it takes the Model C for this product. The product shipped from China and was here within a week of ordering it.
   Having watched a number of install videos I felt confident in the install. Removing the piece of trim from behind my mirror proved to be hellacious (the primary intent of this review is so other Ram owners know their Ram could be an issue). Every video I found showed the blue trim remover just popping it off. It didn’t just pop. I tried for 30 minutes to get the 4 trim clips popped off. Driver side, passenger side, laying over the dash, on the center console, I tried it all – sweet talk, pure rage, nothing worked. I boxed the whole thing back up to send it back. About 3 hours later I tried again with a wooden kitchen spatula – it took every ounce of strength to pop the cover off, I feared for my windshield honestly – no clips or trim pieces were broken though. Once popped off the camera plugged in flawlessly, had power, and didn’t affect operation of my OEM features. Popped the new cover on and it will pop into all 4 clips and then the same two pop out immediately, there is no retention in those. I checked on the original trim and it doesn’t have that issue so it’s not broken. Doesn’t affect camera but I am worried for extended trips on washboard gravel and seeing if it’ll rattle the others out. Pavement doesn’t affect it. I’ve attached a video showing the play in the shroud. AFTER installing it I found a YouTube video that had the same install issue and wished I would have seen that one first to be prepared. Honestly it isn’t a product issue but a Ram issue for certain models being hard to remove. 4 stars for the play in the shroud after install.
