Works great, easy to install, good quality video and looks good. Can’t really even tell it wasn’t made by Toyota. One feature I have not hooked up is the parked feature, that requires an extra wire and its not really needed in my case. Overall. I would recommend this camera to the average person who wants to record their everyday driving. If needing it for the park you will have to buy the add on wires and that requires a hook up in the fuse box. Beyond what I am comfortable doing.

This has to be the best, if not one of the best dashcams on the market. The installation was a breeze. I purchased the 4k Front Cam with the rear camera for a ‘20-’24 Toyota Highlander. Ordered it August 31, received it the same day. Installed on September 1st.
Removing and reattching the plastic trim behind the rear view mirror for the front camera was probably the hardest part of the installation, which took me probably 10 minutes. Everything was just plug and play. The camera fits perfectly there that you don’t even notice it. Simple tucking of the wire for the rearview camera. 10-15 minutes top for the rear camera. The part I love the most; No wires that need to be spliced or anything.
The app is easy to navigate and the video quality in the app is pretty darn good. I’m satisfied with the installation and the performance of the dashcam so far a couple days in. As always, after a couple weeks if there are any hiccups I’ll update the review, if not, I’ll leave the review alone. But this is a definite must buy if FitCamX makes a dashcam for your vehicle.

So far, the FitCamX for my 2024 Toyota Highlander has been wonderful. Installation was easy – it took about 20 minutes, thanks to a number of excellent YouTube video’s. The video quality is 4k and outstanding; The camera and housing integrate so well into the windshield, you don’t even notice the dash cam. The only annoyance – which isn’t an issue with the FItCamX, is that in order to use the FitCamX app for viewing video’s, I must turn off bluetooth/apple CarPlay. This is a limitation of the network connection and not the camera or app.
