This was extremely easy to install. It shares the power with the camera used for safety features such as lane centering. The default settings are pretty good (audio is disabled by default and needs to be turned on) and videos are about 100-120MB per minute filmed with audio on.
In day time, the refresh rate is good enough to capture plates but like a lot of dash cams, night time tends to be more difficult for plate identification as your headlights cause a reflection effect. Always recommended to verbally speak the license plate for future identification.
Unfortunately, will have to drop a star as the camera experiences a very noticeable astigmatism effect when recording during night time, but the plug and play + discreet factor outweighs this.

Ich habe sie exakt so eingebaut wie beschrieben, danach den Motor gestartet, um der Cam den Strom zu geben, damit sie sich einschaltet und ich sie mit der app verbinden kann. Doch alles was ich ausprobiert hatte, klappte nicht, die Cam blieb aus, sie schaltete sich weder automatisch ein, noch manuell. Aber wenn es geklappt hätte, wäre sie perfekt gewesen, da man sie nicht direkt erkennt, und allein deswegen hätte sie schon 5 Sterne verdient.
Ich werde sie zurück schicken und mal schauen, ob ich diesem Modell noch mal eine Chance gebe.
