Switched the radio in my car.. 2007 rav4.. (second installation done in under a month, my brother has same car same year, and we did his first, no problems but he has a more basic unit with less 4 GB, same 8 cores) on my unit 6 GB 8 cores, right after install, at first engine start,.. dashboard now has VSC, Check engine, had traction control light up, and stay on… (car was perfectly fine, no trouble codes before, with original radio) dashboard now looks like a Christmas tree… wth is going on? Has this damaged my car somehow?
Really hard to find information on figuring out the topic online. My best guess is some sort of interference?
Update:.. unplugging and reconnecting the car battery after 15 minutes fixed the issue,.. the product just lacks 2 features,…1) video input format self detection,.. to be able to feed sideview cameras or front view cameras of different formats,.. without having to go into settings,…2) a volume control physical knob.

The android radio arrived very fast, the install was very easy and went well. It’s very nice having android auto in my old rav4. I recommend this product . I did have a problem with the supplied usb cables not working. I contacted Hikity they responded quickly and corrected the problem, very good customer service as well.
