Communication with seller not so good. Yes, this system does record in Cab Audio. The menus for setup a bit confusing (what buttons to push) Manual needs an English editor. Managed to format a standard size SD-Card. Buy a good one.,. class 10 Pro.. Audio recording only plays through your PC.. Monitor has no speaker,, it dose play its videos. Cables have no trigger wire. ;-( update: 25 Feb……..Also, option of guide lines… has none….lol. Remote ” batteries not included”.. Takes a standard coin battery.. CR2032. I find getting used to the monitor buttons easier. Cheers !

The camera and monitor seem good enough, however there is one major downside, at least with my install. The LEDs around the camera are visible white light, not invisible infrared. They are on ALL THE TIME when the camera is powered up. Not that good if you plan to use it as a rear view camera while driving. I had to return it because of this. Otherwise it looked OK.

Night vision is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Any dust on the lens makes it impossible to see, and there is no adjustment for contrast on the display which makes it too bright to use at night. The picture quality is not as good as my other camera systems which give a wider view and better night vision without the IR white. Very disappointed in myself for not testing the system before drilling HUGE holes in my truck and chasing all the wiring as well as ordering 2 more reverse cameras since it comes with 2 forward facing cameras. I back up trailers at night and was trying to widen my field of view, instead I waisted A LOT of time! Not sure how I could’ve tested the IR without being installed…but the whole system is going in the garbage and I’m replacing with the system that hasn’t failed me in years of abuse. Do your research, stay with a small camera which won’t be affected by dust. I probably can’t name the system I use, but it’s not a 4 pin system…

Horrid instructions remote is so cheap and does not work, none of fuctions work except one camera my twenty dollar one worked far better. This is second one ordered i have never been so disappointed in any product. It is from china so no option to contact manufacturer to find out how to trouble shoot DO NOT buy unless you wish to stress yourself out..
