The Hupejos dash cam is functional, but leaves a lot to be desired. The good point is that you can pull the uSD card out and directly read and view the video files, even on a Linux machine. The annoying part is that the GPS receiver is not integrated into it internally; it’s a separate unit with another cable to deal with. The bad point is that its app demands location data of your phone (which is absolutely not necessary), but it would not even find the unit from my phone, and I was already directly connected to the camera’s WiFi access point. From a regular computer I was able to connect to it, and while it has an HTTP server, it does not provide any usable HTML/WebPage interface into it. It has TCP ports 23, 80, and 554 open. I didn’t find credentials to the TELNET port, and I wasn’t able to get it to stream video from the RTSP port.
