This is the first dash cam I’ve ever used, so I don’t have any comparison in terms of quality. That said, this one seems great to me!
The installation video they give you a QR code link to is really good. I was up and running in no time. I’m still a little intimidated by the process of tucking the cable into the edges of my interior trim, though, so I’m going to wait for warmer weather when I can spend some time out there doing it properly. For now, I’m just using the front camera and I’ve got it clipped along my windshield and then it kind of dangles a bit under the glove box. Even with my kind of halfway install, it’s working out well.
I do wish it was a bit easier to pull the camera off. It’s not so much that it’s particularly difficult, just a bit awkward (especially if you’re mounted behind your rearview mirror). But that’s really my only gripe. The picture quality is great and the app works well.

Have used this product for a few months now and have noticed that when I turn the car on the camera turns on but the screen is grey so I have to turn it off and on again. This happens 30% of the time I turn my car on however it’s a little inconvenient that the camera does this . Another thing to point out is that at night, lights can be over exposed which then doesn’t let you see the car in front properly incase you need evidence of an accident, I had a look at the users manual to see if there’s a setting to just lower the exposure but wasn’t able to find it. The camera itself is a good size and there was plenty of wiring but then again I do have a small hatchback so I would make sure that the length of the wires are long enough if you have a larger vehicle. The camera does make a little chime when it turns on and off and at first it was a little annoying but after a while you forget it happens. The picture quality is good in the daytime with good coverage of the road and the rear view camera does help if you’re reversing. It’s a good camera for its price however I would pay more for a better camera that would work 100% of the time it’s switched on

Video is clear. Instructions weren’t the best but between the instruction video and pictures I made it work.
I will be returning because it connects to app with wifi. I use android auto and the camera and my phone kept competing for use. I uber so that’s not something I want to keep swapping between. It might work well if I connect to Andriod Auto using the cord but I’d rather find a something with a more user friendly app.
If it wasn’t for the technology issues, this would work for me. I would recommend for someone that just want to have something record and won’t use full the functionality.
