This is a one star review for one reason only. I was in a car accident when this camera was in my car and it did not record it!! When I went to check the footage, the camera had stopped recording 30 seconds before the accident happened, and resumed recording 30 seconds after the accident had concluded. The whole reason you get a dash cam is to record in case of an accident and for this reason this one did not do its job. I don’t see how this would be related to the accident or electrical failure because it stopped BEFORE the crash and then continued recording after until I unplugged it.

Seems like this will be a good camera. Install was easy enough, although the setup is for a left-hand drive vehicle (the power cord is placed such that it naturally wants to go toward the driver door) and I would rather run the cord toward the passenger, which I did, but it’s awkward. It seemed to work very nicely when I tested it after install. I will update my review after I’ve had a chance to use it.
