I’ve waited a long time for this 5k mirror dash cam. I feel rear view mirror camera has a good feel and build. Picture is clear and setup was easy, even comes with a tool to tuck the wires away. I installed it in my husband’s van and he loves it.

I purchased this rear view cam mirror at the beginning of April. It was received in good condition and I was excited to test it first and then install it into my 2010 Nissan Frontier. The features of this cam were impressive and checked all the boxes for me. When testing I noted a persistent flickering in the video.
I switched power outlets and even tried it in a Toyota Tacoma. The flickering persisted and it was just too much to ignore. I have purchased and installed rear mirror cameras before and never had this problem. I returned it…the image was just too unstable for me.

This dashcam offers a unique solution for vehicles with Subaru BRZ/Toyota GR86 EyeSight. Traditional windshield-mounted cameras would potentially obstruct the Eyesight forward-facing cameras, but this model mounts over the existing rearview mirror, avoiding interference. Gives a better peace of mind.
While the video quality is acceptable for a dashcam, it’s not exceptional. The rear camera boasts a 1080p resolution at 60fps, a feature I wish was available for the front camera as well.

The video from the rear camera looks so overexposed that everything looks too bright in a sunny day. Also there is delay whenever you press the screen and sometimes there is no response too. Worst part is you can’t use any parts from your previous mirror dashcam because this will only accept certain parts.
Update: was able to replace rear camera and now it’s working perfectly. I think it was also the reason why there’s a delay in the system because that’s now also gone. Would recommend as it’s front camera is wider than competitors
