   First of all it does not come with instructions so it’s not so easy to figure out a few things are different that regular car stereos the reverse camera does not work nor does the charging out let’s video on it doesn’t either we tried looking to configure it in the settings but there no instructions and it freezes blanks doesn’t work quite often this radio should have been maybe 40-50 when it does work it not good quality at all don’t waste your money

   Everything works on my RAV4 2018. Took about an hour to remove the old radio and connect the new head unit. At first the back up camera and the SWC did not work. It took a bit of playing around with the settings to get the BU camera to work ( the original one – I didn’t not install the new one). The SWC took days of playing around with setting and contacting support who were prompt to help. Finally got it to work. More fiddling with other settings to get the volume levels between apps to match. In the end everything works well with a lot of hard work. Happy with the product, price, and suppprt.

   Second unit sent to me and same issue. This unit does not work with the factory back up camera. If you have a 2013 rav4 with back up camera it will not give a clear picture. SEE PICTURE.

   I did talk to support, not much help with figuring this out, they will just send a new head unit. Does not have the plug ins to support steering wheel controls for my year either. I can live without the steering wheel control, just don’t want to blurry picture everytime I back up.

   As far as the unit and radio, minus options listed above, seems like it would be a good unit unfortunately I want something that will work with my back up camera.

   The instructions are really poor. I spent hours and hours reading forums on the Internet, and found that this new CarPlay would not work with my JBL speakers, unless I did a lot of modifications. I don’t want to have to run special wires to the amplifier or to other components of the RAV4.

   I had the face plate off and ready to reinstall in about 20 minutes. It was pretty easy to take apart, but it was not easy to put all the harnesses together.
