HW info dump from the device shows the “8 core” device I ordered is actually just a 4 core. It’s slower than what I expected, and I am overall not sure if I am going to keep it.
The software also doesn’t let you directly access the android settings and you there is some weird apps on the device you can’t remove.
The radio volume is excessively loud compared to Bluetooth/USB/Carplay.
it may work for the used car I put it in, but it is NOT listed correctly and I may just return it to get one that is.

Do your research. You will see that many brands actually sell the same hardware, only the software is different. I paid for the one of the most $ hoping that help. But nothing will make either wire or wireless Carplay work. I have done everything including talking to support and install new firmware. Uninstall to return just take too much work. I have another car I got another head unit from another brand for a third of the price and the thing work beautifully. Two start for tech support actually tried to help..but nothing will help.
