   (2009 Jetta S 2.5) The radio was easy to install. The touch screen very receptive. Sound is great. GPS slow and out of date. Bluetooth is great, hands free phone. You can mirror your mobile phone and watch Netflix, YouTube ect, on the 8in screen. My steering wheel control’s do not work due to only one connection that fit on the supplied connectors. The other connector has that option, however it doesn’t fit.

   Not bad considering price and features. Few months in now. Not as strong FM signal as the original, cant seem to find a way to switch to the reverse camera automatically so never finally installed it.

   Edit: Purchased Oct 2020, Now September 2021 and the unit is DEAD! Rather spend more for something better, android mirror not working, mic is useless for calls, volume auto adjust after startup starting load, mp3 player skips songs as it likes while driving

   The unit fits perfectly and looks amazing. Installation is pretty simple if you know what you’re doing due to the fact that the documentation is barely enough for you to figure out that if it doesn’t fit into one of the use cases you can switch to the other one without setting your car on fire.
   The software that preloaded isn’t my favorite but I was able to customize and load HeadUnit in a heartbeat.

   So far so good for the price definitely worth it!! Have only been using it for a few days call quality seems good no complaints from others on the call. Sound quality almost seems better than factory head unit for music. I did not get the adapter for the radio so fm radio is spotty.

   This is a great product! You can download additional apps. Didn’t install the rear view camera because I was being lazy. The instructions are a little confusing. YOU WILL NOT USE ALL THE CORDS PROVIDED. I found that out later lol. You will see just match the end pieces with the outlets. It became easier to figure out. Gives you car a modern feel 😊

   Looks nice but really not worth going budget on this item. Screen never fully turns off, the power button just mutes it,, the user interface is really terrible, the Bluetooth calls are not usable because the mic is so bad, there’s no turn dial so you can’t actually turn the music up or down easily. The volume buttons are in the opposite order (left is volume down.) When you restart the car it often defaults to a very loud volume so you poop your pants a little when you start the car. There a million apps on it you’ll never use. Navigation apps suck and default to “portrait” instead of landscape so putting in addresses is a nightmare and if you’re driving straight it looks like you’re going left. Even if you go in the setting and fix it once you restart the car its back to being messed up.. Would not recommend this item. Waste of money. Sorry, wife. Your car still sucks.

   I like that screen is big it’s quick and easy to use only thing that I don’t like was that rear view camera did not work at all the lines was there it moved when steering wheel moved but the screen was black after 2 months the mic for the bluetooth makes it hard for the person to hear you the radio feature sucks… lol but other than that it’s a cool feature for my 2011 jetta… oh yeah if the screen is still on after your car is off you have to check the wire that says low use and unplug it and the unit will shut off when taking the key out… your welcome

   tried install this and thought it was a simple plug and play but no the trim on my vw jetta 2009 mk5.5 was unable to fit as the corner of this unit was rectangular but the stock unit was round on the edge. need to spend 3 hours on modifying the trim piece to fit. other than that all was able to use with steering control buttons auto learn and my reverse sensor work as well.

    First off, the unit they sent me was obviously used, not new. The mounting frame was scratched from being in/out of a previous vehicle, and someone else’s Google account information was already set up in it.

    The FM radio does not work at all. Sound quality over bluetooth is meh (it jitters and drops out from time to time). The interface is super slow, jittery, and freezes all the time (cannot handle anything more than Bluetooth streaming at once).

    It also does not fit as advertised unless you use a saw to modify parts of the vehicle’s interior trim frame (2008 VW rabbit – this unit has corners where a rounded bezel is needed).

    It’s better than nothing, but you should really consider something else. It’s cheap, but still a waste of money.

    This radio was easy to install and worked like a charm for the past 2 years, however… it stopped working today and has stayed in boot mode with the Android Logo staying permanently on. How do I hard reset this? I have tried pressing the RST but for more than 30 seconds. Nothing helps
