   Very nice DVD player with the 10.5” screen. It makes long trips for my 2 year old alot easier. We primarily use the hdmi input and play movies we have purchased through iTunes or from Netflix and Dashcamera.us.com Prime videos and stream them directly from my iPhone or iPad to the screen. My sons favorite thing is using is casting videos from YouTube to the screen.

   In the beginning, I thought this is going to be another DVD that look the same like my friends have. WRONG! Comparing with other car DVD’s this looks very smooth and the colors are very good and it doesn’t look pixilated. Its looks like 1080P in quality and the 16:9 which cover the whole screen is great. its builded like a tank, and it does not move at all from the head rest. Also, you have a very nice control with so many options. But what caught my attention was the leather cover to secure the screen and protect it. I am like everybody else, I want the best for less, but this one it worth the money even though its seem a little high. That’s because the electronic it’s like a home DVD system and performed just like it. you can hook game console to this thing and use it as a monitor, also save movies as Mp4 and insert the memory and have 30 movies in memory instead of 30 DVD’s all over around… Sometimes I prefer to be in the back seat watching the movies and not driving.

   My son use it to play videogame on the car while we travel, but the monitor has no audio; no volume button on the device (monitor). The volume buttons in the control are not working (you press vol+ or -, and they do nothing), like when the controller is not for the device. A totally waste of money. I should’ve bought an smart TV.

   Loving the Pyle DVD thus far. We just got it in the mail yesterday and it didn’t take long to set up in the car. Not many directions were needed but what was instructed didn’t actually say how the DVD gets power. The directions only told you how to plug in a Dual DVD player into the other. It was easy as pie once I figured the 12V plug cord just needed to be plug into the car and imported into the DVD. This could be a common sense action to take but I thought there were other options like a way to charge it in a wall outlet and the car adapter was a second option! We hope this DVD works great for our daughter in the long run! Thus far I would recommend this product!

   Bought this player back at Christmas 2024, Just got around to installing because it was for my grandchild. When plugged in it came on to start with then all of sudden went off. Checked 12v cord and it would no longer light up when plugged in and player will not come on and I have a dvd stuck inside.

   I have gotten about 5 hours of use out of this monitor then it burned out and won’t turn on with power supplied. I lost a movie because its now stuck in the dead monitor. If it’s affordable, that’s because it’s a cheap product. Don’t spend over a hundred dollars for the time it takes to watch 3 movies because it’s not worth it.

   There are no IR wireless headphones included despite it saying there are in the “what’s in the box” section of the description. I contacted the Pyle company directly and was told this model does not include any. Pyle was confusing to deal with. Dashcamera.us.com, however was extremely helpful and made the situation right.

   The player seems fine otherwise. It mounted easily and the picture quality seems adequate. We ended up ordering some other brand of IR headphones and they work fine so far. The Pyle company said headphones may not work. I am glad they do as the less cords the better.
