Have an older dash cam and this one is a significant improvement. Controls are visible in front vs on the side like my old ROAV dash cam which makes it easier to operate. The wi-fi to the phone is much faster. Downloading videos to the phone is very easy but transferring the recording to another agency such as your insurance company is harder because the increased resolution requires more memory and is near impossible to transfer between mailboxes. But I am using a 3 minute loop because that is what I am used too. Have not tried the 1 minute loop yet so maybe it can transfer. Therefore I have to use the Dropbox app to transfer videos. Makes it harder but the increase resolution makes it worth while. The rear camera is very good and it is easy to display front or rear at the touch of a button. I am considering buying another unit to install in my older second car because the rear camera can serve as a backup camera. For setup I recommend watching all installation videos first. Then I would setup the system on your desk to make sure everything is working. While on the desk you can setup the memory card and review all the menu settings. For the most part the default values should work for you until you get familiar with it.

I installed this with the power adapter for 24hr parking, the USB-c connections are clearly marked for rear camera so it makes it foolproof to connect. I ran all the wiring under the trim for a clean looking install, the most difficult part was removing the trim panels but the wires were perfect length. 3M tape makes for a solid stick and shows the company cares enough to include reliable materials. The app and camera functions are easy to figure out and the recording quality is excellent. I spent a lot of time researching different dash cams and manufacturers for the best quality and value, Rove definitely checked all the boxes and so far I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

The first point of contact is the packaging. It would leave Steve Jobs in awe. Every little detail had been thought of. It communicated to me that this is going to be a great product if the company paid attention to that level of detail. And lo and behold, it is a great product. Simple to get up and running, the instructions are 1st grade (like everything else in the box) and I watched the video on installation. I installed in my F150 no issues. Both front and rear cams work as advertised. Easy peasy to watch on your phone. It’s so good I’m considering getting the hardware kit for when it’s parked. The only wrinkle was ‘user error’. The confirmation email went into my spam folder. I both texted and emailed the company, not knowing this, and received near simultaneous very professional and friendly replies! I found the confirmation email right where they said it’d be and the app took off.
Other companies should study this one on how to make the buying/user experience simple. This is my first dash cam, so very positive experience.

So far I really love this dash cam! It was pretty easy to set up. It doesn’t have a touch screen. Everything is controls with the buttons. The wifi is a little annoying to set up and reconnect, but overall works well. The installation wasn’t difficult. They gave long cords for connection and pads for the adhesive so it doesn’t mess up window tint. I feel more safe with it recording and it was a great deal!
