I ordered the stereo to give my 2015 Beetle an update and it looks amazing!
The screen itself works perfectly, no delays, user friendly, doesn’t look cheap, has Bluetooth, and I was surprised to see it also came with a backup camera! I can also watch YouTube on it when I’m parked and pick my own screen saver if I ever needed to.
I did pay a professional to install it so I can’t comment on that but I can say I wish I had bought it sooner than stressing over it being legit or not.

Fit nicely and was plug and play but that’s about it , tried both ways in so called installation instructions for power but the unit never actually turns off which lead to a dead battery multiple times , the user interface is lacking , really is just a tablet rigged to be a radio but CarPlay worked for a month then the app quit working and deleted itself after an update with no way to redownload the app it is $115 brick that sits in my dash , radio function itself is terrible save your money and get something worth the money , nothing but a rip off 0 stars if I could

The stereo is extremely simple to install and a true plug-and-play for our VW. The problem is with the power design and with the Bluetooth connectivity. The wiring is such that the stereo doesn’t turn off unless you manually push the button. The Bluetooth problem is common among all the cheap Android stereos especially with Apple products. The Z-link program often syncs terribly or not at all and it’s completely random. We have overcome these issues by remembering to turn the stereo off and by using the USB AUX connection instead of Bluetooth. Overall it is a descent radio. Update: I upgraded this review by one star. The stereo is still working good and I don’t plan to replace it unless there is a problem. The vendor did reach out and offer a refund based on my first review but I never received the refund so I’m not sure how much I trust the reply.

The backup camera only works maybe 30% of the time and when it does it still has weird lines through it. The CarPlay works but it is laggy and delayed but I guess that’s what you get for a cheaper radio. FM radio signals are terrible with this thing as well. It is supposed to be an easy plug and play and it is not. SO MANY WIRES and hardly NO INSTRUCTIONS. It took forever to fiddle with just to get it to work and it would drain the battery because there is a little black clip wire labeled acc keep that unplugged and it shouldn’t stay on and drain the battery.

Device goes in and out of Bluetooth constantly and music skips endlessly even when it works. Directions weren’t perfect to follow but if you pay attention it’s easy enough to figure out. I will say, however, that the fit of the console itself is quite good and everything lines up well. Overall, not the best quality and I wouldn’t recommend buying this. I would say spend the extra money and get something made at a higher standard.

It’s literally a cheap android tablet that has CarPlay. It fits nicely. It beeps with every click of the volume knob whether you raise or lower the volume. The CarPlay is a little delayed but that’s what you can expect from a cheaper unit.
