I purchased this dash cam about a year ago and it has functioned flawlessly. With the app, I can go back and view close encounters, download and edit them as needed to my phone. Really easy to use. The wide angle does capture much of the sides and is crystal clear.
CON: My car sits outside and the suction cup mount eventually gave up and broke. I have been looking for a replacement but cannot find anything that would work. I may have to resort to the windshield sticky mount, but this removes the flexibility of using it on my other cars. If anyone knows of how to get a replacement suction cup windshield mount, please let me know. Other than that. item works perfectly as it should.

Overall , very good camera for price . Used to older model for over 4yrs . It has done a good job ,really no issues. Good quality, good pictures. In fact , the only thing that didn’t last was the holder which lost its seal/rubber under the hot southern California sun. Easily replaced.
Been using for over a month now ,working well ,only thing I’m finding is sometimes doesn’t come on when I start the car . I just unplug from cigarette lighter then no issues. Picture quality is definitely a step up from older model .
