The install was super easy! Bought this to replace an old 7″ screen that was in there. Still using the rca video so it is only 480i quality but very clear. The instructions are legible but all the wires are labelled and easy to follow.
The ONLY complaint is the wires are hard wired into the screen and it makes the install a little challenging. If you trim the wires down to make sure you dont have a lot of extra in the headliner the screen will hang while you are wiring it up. This would be eliminated if there was a harness and wouldn’t be an issue.

Installed and it didn’t work. Seller wanted me to put $100 deposit for them to send replacement. Came from Hong Kong they didn’t understand or didn’t care that I had a whole in my roof and wires dangling if I removed it and sent it first. Dashcamera.us.com refunded my money . Don’t buy from them the tv is cheap garbage

Stylish design and better than others available, sound only transmits via radio frequency which is OK but can be annoying. Input with 2 rca video and 1 hdmi, doesn’t have a TV tuner but buy cheap 12v freeview HD and turns into a TV too. Remote control is small but simple to use. Comes with mounting plates and easy to install, great value good quality picture for what you pay

We had this professionally installed in anticipation of a long road trip with our kids. Imagine our surprise when we went to test things out only to find that the screen flickers intermittently, ruining the viewing experience. This happens in the menus and when not playing video at all so we know it is not our USB drive. Very disappointed, especially because we have no time to make this right before leaving. Stay away from this product. As another point of annoyance it is incredibly hard to make the screen actually come down when you want it to. That would be forgivable were it possible to watch a movie without incessant flickering.
UPDATE: We had the professional installer check the installation and they confirmed the wiring is correct, so it is the unit at fault. Now we are out the cost of the install, additional time to install an alternative, and we have no way to watch movies during our trip. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

I would give this product 5 stars if it was in fact the product featured in the photos. But it is not. The USB is not embedded in the unit. Instead it was dangled by a cord on the side!!! Once it’s mounted on your ceiling gravity causes it to dangle and it’s super annoying to see every time you look in your rear view mirror.
That being said, its my only complaint. The picture is fantastic and I love that it has SD and USB to 32 GB so we can essentially have 64GB of movies, half on the USB and the other half on the SD card. But I really wish it was the product pictured. Even in the manual it does not have the USB input dangling on the side. it is embedded in the unit like a computer. It is also a pain in the butt to install!! But that is the case with any overhead DVD player.
